Spring Concert
DCM students registered for the Winter and Spring semesters at or above the preballet level are invited by the Harford Ballet Company to participate in a yearly spring concert performed in May. This optional commitment allows students to have an incredible, comprehensive theatre experience modeled after a professional production. Performed are a variety of classical and contemporary ballets that also incorporate other dance forms. Students will learn choreography that integrates their role into the overall performance. The resulting concert is a cohesive production presented in a preprofessional stage setting with lighting, sets, costumes, and the dancers and guests of the Harford Ballet Company. Registration and concert commitment contracts will be distributed in November and are required to be returned in December in order to perform.

Nutcracker
Each year local ballet students ages 6-11 are invited to audition for the Harford Ballet's Nutcracker performed in December. The performance features guest professionals from the Pennsylvania Ballet as well as the pre- professional students of the Harford Ballet Company. The show displays gorgeous sets and costumes as well as an exciting battle scene and enchanting "Land of the Sweets." Auditions are held each September and are open to students from all area dance schools as well as DCM. For more information, please contact our office.

Studio Visitation Day
Students have the opportunity to present a selection of classroom material learned each session within the classroom setting. This in-class presentation allows students to experience the art of performing on a more personal level for their families and friends. It also allows parents to come behind the scenes and watch as their child takes class and interacts directly with the teacher. Details will be distributed closer to performance dates.
