Philosophy:
Our goal is to instill confidence as well as nurture poise
and self-discipline that will be of benefit to our
students for a lifetime.
Through
dance, we believe each student can improve their overall physical
condition while also experiencing the pure joy that accompanies
movement.
|
Our expanded curriculum
is comprised of two divisions: the academic program and the recreational
program. Students can choose from a variety of dance forms and may choose
the number of classes they commit to per week. The school operates on
a trimester system, with three sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring), some with
posted breaks. New registrations are accepted throughout the year, except
no new registrations can be accepted for the spring trimester at or above
the preballet level. This is due to ongoing preparations for the school’s
spring performance with the Harford Ballet Company. The summer session
consists of mini-camps, intensive workshops and day camp.
